Descartes’ Routing, Mobile and Telematics (RMT) solutions are highly innovative, offering functionalities tailored to our customers’ needs. Allowing full visibility, automation, and control of every aspect of the end2end road transportation operations. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with good analytical skills, technical background, and commercial mindset to be our new Fleet & Route Management Analyst with the ambition to develop as the next subject matter expert in a fast-growing team.
In this role, you will:
- Support Sales and Solutions Teams: Assist the sales team by preparing responses to client queries, presentations, and proposals for new business opportunities.
- Collaborate and Innovate: Partner with Solutions Consultants to refine and enhance proposed solutions by offering fresh perspectives and constructive feedback.
- Perform ROI Analysis: Analyze customer-provided data, conduct data runs, and deliver actionable insights to improve operational efficiency.
- Prepare Solution Demonstrations: Set up and configure software solutions, including as Routing, Mobile, Telematics, and Transportation Management Systems.
- Handle and Configure Data: Transform data from various formats (e.g., Excel, XML, JSON) into ready-to-use formats for import and reporting.
- Focus on Customer: Collaborate with your team to deliver an exceptional client experience, ensuring satisfaction and building long-term relationships.

To be successful in this role, you should have:
- 1–3 years of experience in roles such as sales engineering, customer support, testing, software development, or presales.
- A background in logistics, SaaS, or similar fields (a plus).
- Strong Excel skills, including data analysis, transformation, and preparation for system integration.
- Proficiency in PowerPoint for creating clear and engaging presentations.
- The ability to understand and clearly communicate technical concepts.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken.
- Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
- Fluency in English.
