Descartes SupplyVision is seeking a motivated and passionate Full Stack C# Developer to join our team supporting products in the transportation, logistics, and freight-forwarding industries. We’re looking for someone who loves building great software, enjoys learning new technologies, and wants to contribute meaningfully to modernizing and expanding our platform. In this role, you will work primarily with C#/.NET, ASP.NET, Angular, and React to build and enhance web applications and backend services. Experience with unmanaged code, C++, or Delphi is an asset but not a requirement. If you are enthusiastic about software development and eager to grow your skills, we’d love to talk with you.

Duties and Responsibilities
• Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to analyze requirements and design thoughtful, scalable solutions.
• Develop, test, and maintain C#/.NET web applications, APIs, and backend services.
• Build and enhance web UI features using ASP.NET, Angular, or React.
• Write clean, maintainable, well-documented code following modern development practices.
• Incrementally improve legacy components and participate in ongoing modernization efforts.
• Troubleshoot and debug issues across application layers and environments.
• Contribute to unit test coverage and quality improvements across new and existing features.
• Participate in Sprint planning / feedback and foster a collaborative team culture.
• Use Azure DevOps and/or Git for source control, CI/CD, and workflow management.
• Work with SQL Server databases, including writing and optimizing T-SQL queries.
Required Qualifications
We welcome applicants with a range of experience levels.
• Solid understanding of C#/.NET and object-oriented programming.
• Experience building web applications with ASP.NET and modern JavaScript frameworks (Angular and/or React preferred).
• Familiarity with SQL Server and writing T-SQL.
• Understanding of REST APIs, JSON/XML, and web service integration.
• Ability to communicate clearly, collaborate in a team environment, and ask good questions.
• Strong desire to learn, grow, and tackle challenges with enthusiasm.
Nice to Have (Assets)
• Experience with unmanaged code (C/C++, Win32) or Delphi (VCL).
• Experience contributing to legacy system modernization.
• Familiarity with DevExpress, Rave Reports, or other UI/reporting frameworks.
• Exposure to cloud-based development or Azure services.
Salary Range: $80,000 to $100,000 CAD.Compensation listed is a good-faith estimate for this position. Actual salary may vary based on skills and experience. Similar roles in other regions may differ.
