Customs Rater
Mission — Why This Role Exists
The Customs Rater ensures the accurate and timely submission of shipment data to regulatory authorities, enabling seamless cross-border trade for our customers. This role exists to maintain compliance, reduce delays at the border, and deliver a reliable customs clearance experience in a high-volume, time-sensitive environment.
Outcomes — What Success Looks Like

Achieve 99%+ accuracy in data entry and customs submissions within the first 6–12 months.

Consistently meet or exceed SLA timelines for shipment processing and CBSA submissions.

Reduce shipment delays caused by data errors or omissions by proactively identifying and resolving issues before submission.

Maintain real-time queue management, ensuring all shipments are monitored and accepted by regulatory authorities without backlog.

Resolve 95%+ of customer inquiries within defined response times, maintaining high satisfaction and clear communication.

Demonstrate cross-functional flexibility by effectively supporting adjacent teams during peak periods or staffing gaps.

Adapt quickly to shift rotations and workload fluctuations, maintaining consistent performance across all schedules.

Salary Range: $30,000 – $40,000 CAD
