Overview
Descartes is building a new Integrations Team focused on accelerating go-to-market success and ecosystem growth across our Transportation Management Suite of products, with emphasis on Aljex, MacroPoint and MyCarrierPortal.
The Manager, Integrations is a leadership role responsible for defining and executing our third-party integration strategy while building and leading a team of Integration Specialists. This role sits at the intersection of product strategy, go-to-market alignment, technical execution, and customer success. This leader will serve as both a strategic decision-maker determining which integrations belong in our ecosystem, and a hands-on technical leader who understands APIs, integration specifications, and real-world partner implementation workflows. The role requires deep familiarity with the freight broker, freight technology, and TMS landscape, combined with the ability to translate that knowledge into scalable, high-quality integrations that drive customer value.
Who We’re Looking For
We’re looking for builders. People who get excited about shaping strategy, not just executing it. People who understand freight, not from the outside, but from the inside. You know how customers make money. You understand why TMS integrations matter. You recognize why third-party vendors fight to integrate into various systems. And you have opinions about what should and shouldn’t be part of a winning ecosystem. You’re technical enough to dive into API documentation without blinking but strategic enough to ask whether the integration even makes sense in the first place. You’re hungry. You’re self-starting. You don’t wait for a perfect roadmap — you help define it. You want to be associated with something impactful. You want your decisions to matter. You want to be on the front lines of where freight tech and AI are headed. You’re comfortable working with some of the largest and most sophisticated 3PLs, 4PLs, freight brokers, and shippers in the world — and you’re motivated by helping them win. Most importantly, you want to build something that lasts. If that excites you more than it intimidates you, you’ll thrive here.
