Die Rolle:
Wir suchen Dich für die Rolle des Implementation Consultant. Du bist für die technische Beratung unserer Kunden und die Durchführung von Implementierungsprojekten von unseren Produkten im Bereich Routing und mobile Geräte verantwortlich. Als Mitglied des EMEA Professional Services Teams wirst Du eng mit anderen Teams wie Vertrieb, Produktentwicklung und Kundenservice zusammenarbeiten.

Deine Verantwortlichkeiten sind:

• Implementierung und Verbesserung von Betriebsabläufen im Bereich Routing, Terminierung und Logistikplanung unserer nationalen und internationalen Kunden mit Hilfe unserer mobilen Lösungen durch Analyse, Entwicklung, Implementierung und Testen von Computersoftwareanwendungen
• Entwurf und Konfiguration von Systemen für Web- und Client/Server-Architekturen und Evaluierung von Benutzerbedürfnissen; Identifizieren von Betriebsabläufen und entsprechende Konfiguration unserer Produktpalette
• Anwendung deiner Kenntnisse über logistische Abläufe und Softwarelösungen unter Verwendung von auf grafischen Benutzeroberflächen basierenden Tools in Client-Server-, Web- und mobilen Umgebungen
• Durchführung von Datenmodellierungsübungen, um den Mehrwert zu zeigen, den Descartes seinen Kunden bietet
• Erstellung branchen- bzw. kundenspezifischer Demos, einschließlich Anwendungskonfiguration, Konfiguration der Benutzeroberfläche und Datenmodellierung
• Definieren und koordinieren von für den Kundenerfolg erforderlichen Produktverbesserungen
• Schulung und Beratung von Kunden in den Bereichen Routenplanung und Terminierung in der Logistikbranche
• Bereitstellung von fortgeschrittenem Anwendungs- und technischem Wissen zur Unterstützung anderer Descartes-Teams - einschließlich des Vertriebs- und Pre-Sales-Teams, sowie des Kundenservices

Das bringst Du mit:

• Abgeschlossenes Bachelorstudium im Bereich Informatik, Supply Chain-/Logistikmanagement, Wirtschaftsingenieurwesen oder einer verwandten Fachrichtung
• Mindestens 3 Jahre einschlägige Erfahrung in den Bereichen Routing, Logistik, Supply Chain oder Software-Anwendungsberatung
• Erfahrung mit dem gesamten Lebenszyklus der Produktbereitstellung, von der Anforderungserfassung, über die Implementierung bis hin zum Betriebsmanagement
• Erfahrung in der Implementierung von Projekten zur Geschäftsumgestaltung/Prozessverbesserung sowie von Softwaresystemen, die zu betrieblichen Einsparungen führen
• Du bringst Erfahrung in der Dokumentation von Geschäftszielen mit und kannst diese in Anforderungen umsetzen sowie Erfahrung in der Bereitstellung von Lösungen, die den gewünschten ROI erzielen (vorzugsweise im Logistik- oder Transportbereich)
• Erfahrung in der Durchführung von Live-Schulungen und dem Coaching neuer Benutzer in den ersten Phasen der Implementierung 
• Du beherrschst die Microsoft Office-Suite, insbesondere die Arbeit mit Tabellenkalkulationen, Datenmanipulationen und Berichten
• Erfahrung mit Microsoft Windows Server und SQL
• Erfahrung mit XML, XSL im Zusammenhang mit der Integration von System-APIs
• Fähigkeit zur Umsetzung von Lösungen und technische Entscheidungen zu treffen
• Sehr gute schriftliche und mündliche Kommunikationsfähigkeiten, sowohl in Deutsch als auch Englisch
• Pragmatische Fähigkeiten in der Problemlösung und der Zusammenarbeit mit Kunden
• Erfahrung im Management und in der Erfüllung von Kundenerwartungen
• Selbstständige Arbeitsweise sowie Teamfähigkeit
• Erfahrung in der Arbeit mit mehreren gleichzeitigen Projekten und das Management konkurrierender Anforderungen
• Zusätzlich sind auch folgende Fähigkeiten von Vorteil:
  • Scripting und Kodierung
  • Installation, Verwaltung und Wartung von Software in geclusterten, belastbaren Umgebungen
  • Beratung und Schulung von Kunden in Bezug auf Routen- und Ablaufplanung
• Erfahrung mit der Arbeit in einem geschäftskritischen 24/7-Umfeld
• Reisebereitschaft
