Full Stack .NET Core Developer (Hybrid – India)

Mission 
Descartes is expanding its Global Trade Intelligence platform and is seeking a Full Stack .NET Core Developer to help build and evolve scalable web applications that power global trade compliance and logistics insights. This role will strengthen our ability to deliver reliable, high-performance SaaS solutions that solve complex problems for organizations operating in global trade.
 
Outcomes — What Success Looks Like
1.    Deliver high-quality platform features by designing and developing enhancements for the Global Trade Intelligence platform using .NET Core and modern web technologies.
2.    Improve reliability and code quality by writing robust unit tests and reducing defects through strong engineering practices.
3.    Contribute to engineering excellence through thoughtful code reviews and continuous improvements to maintainability and performance.
4.    Collaborate across teams with product managers, QA, and engineers to deliver impactful features in an Agile environment.
5.    Support scalable platform architecture by developing efficient APIs and database integrations that support growing data volumes and usage.
 
Skills & Competencies — How the Work Gets Done
Technical Expertise
•    Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent practical experience
•    3+ years of development experience using C# with .NET Framework and .NET Core
•    Experience building web applications using .NET Core
•    Strong front-end skills with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
•    Experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs
•    Familiarity with SQL Server, including stored procedures and queries
•    Strong understanding of clean code, source control, and object-oriented design
•    Experience working in Agile development environments

Nice to Have
•    Experience with Blazor UI development
•    Experience with web services
•    Familiarity with multi-tenant SaaS architectures

Competitive compensation: $15,00,000 - $20,00,000 INR annually- Compensation information provided is a good faith estimate for this position only. Factors that may be used to determine your actual salary may include your specific skills as well as the years of experience you have. Similar positions located in different geographic regions will not necessarily receive the same compensation.
