Sales Director Enterprise SaaS North America
Leadership at Descartes means coaching with intent, selling with curiosity, and building teams that win the right way. We’re seeking Sales Directors to lead, mentor, and scale high performing enterprise sales teams across North America. You’ll be a player coach, hands on in key deals, guiding reps through high impact conversations, and developing future leaders through coaching, consistency, and accountability.

What You’ll Be Doing
You’ll oversee an enterprise region, drive new business growth, and develop top SaaS sellers by:
• Leading, coaching, and developing a team of 5 to 6 Enterprise Sales Reps through regular 1:1s, deal reviews, and enablement workshops
• Creating a structured sales rhythm focused on skill development, collaboration, and data driven execution
• Modeling consultative selling excellence by helping reps diagnose customer challenges and connect Descartes solutions to measurable outcomes
• Building and managing a high quality pipeline grounded in customer value, not volume
• Recruiting and developing top talent who embody curiosity, commitment, and integrity
• Leveraging CRM and performance data to improve forecasting accuracy and pipeline discipline
• Celebrating wins, encouraging progress, and maintaining optimism through recognition and growth
• Consistently achieving your pipeline, sales, and recruiting targets

Salary Range: $125,000 to $135,000 USD plus sales variable Commission. Compensation information provided is a good faith estimate for this position only. Factors that may be used to determine your actual salary may include your specific skills as well as the years of experience you have. Similar positions located in different geographic regions will not necessarily receive the same compensation.
