We are seeking a skilled Xamarin or Android Java Developer to join our team building and improving the PVX Warehouse Management System. You'll collaborate with Agile-driven software enthusiasts to help brands grow and deliver exceptional online shopping experiences. Responsibilities
- Designing software solutions to business problems
- Implementing new and changing existing features
- Fixing defects found by development team and end users
- Writing automated tests (incl. unit tests)
- Assisting technical support and cloud operations teams in handling service incidents
- Reviewing and providing feedback on code created by other developers
- Maintaining CI/CD pipelines to ensure smooth delivery of new features to all environments
- Updating technical documentation to facilitate operating the software and onboarding new team members
- Following technical standards and best practices
- Coming up with improvements to the way the team works
- Collaborating with other development team members (developers and testers), Product Owner and Cloud Operations in the Agile way on designing, building, delivering, and monitoring effective and efficient software solutions
Required skills and Experience
- 2+ years of professional experience in programming Xamarin applications or mobile applications for Android in Java
- Very good C# skills or Java and Android SDK skills and experience with Android libraries
- Familiarity with SQL and with relational databases (incl. SQLite)
- Good understanding and working knowledge of software design patterns
- Understanding of and alignment with the Agile way of working
- Real interest in and enthusiasm about modern software development
- Attention to details
- Good communication skills (incl. English)
- Critical thinking
